Ankur Foundations Private Ltd. is a Chennai based Real Estate Development Company, promoted and co-founded by Mr. Narendra C. Maher.

Mr. Narendra C. Maher is a real estate professional with over 50 years of experience in the Indian Real Estate market. His core expertise lays in land acquisitions, development, financing and project planning. His brother and two sons are also engaged in real estate development along with him. Narendra Properties Ltd. (NPL) is a listed company promoted by Mr. Narendra C, Maher.

Over the years, the group has completed residential and commercial projects amounting to construction of over 6 million sq. ft. in prime locations in the city of Chennai.

Under this dynamic leadership, Ankur Foundations completed a residential project -ANKUR GRAND – in the most sought after locations of Chennai. This is a hallmark project and well-known landmark in the central part of the city.

In its continuous endeavour to provide high quality housing facilities to the customers, the company promotes projects that are a class apart.

Founder's Message

Dear Friends,

Over the past 50 years the stupendous work and the immense goodwill created by Mr. Narendra Maher along with the companies he has been associated with, have made a mark in Chennai.

Over these years the group has successfully completed a number of residential and commercial projects totaling to more than SIX Million Sq. Ft. catering to various socio-economic classes of customers. The projects are located all across Chennai, some of them being in the most prime areas of the city. In our path of progress, new companies were added and thus M/S ANKUR FOUNDATIONS PVT LTD. (AFPL) was born in the year 2001.

Since its inception, M/S ANKUR FOUNDATIONS PVT LTD. (AFPL) has carried out fabulous projects and for all this success AFPL applauds and acknowledges the tremendous support and faith shown by its customers, business partners and well-wishers. We are also firmly committed to a cleaner and greener environment and all our projects have specific areas set aside for landscaping. After all, the future has to be protected. It is what we have borrowed from our children.

THE BOARD CONSISTS OF

At the helm of affairs of AFPL, is Mr. Narendra C Maher. A self-made professional, he is a born leader, with more than 40 years of experience in the Indian Real Estate market. This translates into projects delivered, under development & planning covering more than six million sq. ft. His core competence expands over a range of areas which include strategic land acquisitions, aesthetic developments giving value for money, project planning and scheduling and project financing. Behind all these lie his unassuming individual self with a Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, on which he has built his expertise.

He is blessed with the acumen to identify potential locations and to see the opportunities therein where none apparently pre-exist. His courage to take on the untrodden path and the determination to see his vision through to fruition is a rare quality that has been the strength behind all his achievements.

He is the back bone of the organization and an effective leader who vibrantly transforms the team into a fully motivated one which thus acts in unison.

He manages group of companies which are engaged in distribution of household products such as water heaters, utensils, mixers, plastic wares and consumer electronics products throughout South India. He helps provide a fresh perspective to the operations.

Mahendra K. Maher
A Director of the Sugal & Damani Group which is engaged in diverse activities such as on-line lotteries, information technology, travel and tourism, jewellery showrooms, share and commodity broking, real estate, warehousing, hospitality industry, education etc. A Commerce Graduate he directly oversees the on-line lottery business of the group in India as well as in other countries, since over 20 years.
S. Prasan Chand JainDirector
S. Prasan Chand Jain
He manages the share and commodities broking business of the Sugal & Damani Group. He has been instrumental in achieving high turnover volumes in the share broking company. He has an experience of over 15 years in the share broking business. He has a unique expertise in managing diverse business ventures. A Commerce Graduate, he has a keen interest in real estate sector and is actively involved in the planning of various projects of the company.
S. Vinod KumarDirector
S. Vinod Kumar
He is directly involved in the day-to-day implementation of all the projects of AFPL. He possesses expertise in planning and construction of residential and commercial projects involving different complexities. A Graduate of Corporate Secretary ship – B.A, C.S., he has experience of over 15 years in the real estate sector. He also heads the crucial marketing function at the group, and has had success with both residential as well as commercial projects of the group. He has experience in a diverse range of construction projects viz. health clubs, independent bungalows, retail show rooms, fitness centres etc. In the past, he also has been involved in the cost-effective imports of household products such as ceramic tiles, false ceilings etc.
